The Zen Sculptor Makes Wave

It was last Sunday when Sarah and I visited the Half Moon Bay pumpkin festival and we bump into Brett Cleveland, the famous zen sculptor.

We were taken a back by his metal creations. What really stood out to me were the contemporary cool grass stands. I was thinking how cool it would be when your plants wither away, the metal sculptor stands still looked fantastic. We all sure could use this wonderful creations. I could have kicked myself for not getting the spiky ball stands Those were my favourite and of course there were others too. I bet Larry Ellison's zen house could use Brett's collections.

Brett's work has a great sense of calmness and simplicity. The more you look at it, you feel good. I could see his works in gardens or softer areas. Brett's style are of simple straight lines and geometric shapes, yet organic. Almost constructivist in movement.
