The importance of a business card design is to have the right communication and brand. It may be just a little card but when one is browsing and to check for contact, your business card may be a pass over if you do not have the right feel and information.
Your business card says a lot about you and your company.
1) Be clear about what your company does in a short sentence
2) Make sure your graphics tie in with what you do
3) Make your contact information clear and concise
4) Minimum information you should have on your card; Company's logo, Name, Title, Contact Info, Tag line of business and your brand; meaning the feel of what your company does.
5) Test your design to a couple of stranger on the road, if people are not getting it you need to change your card.
6) Let your business card be a conversational piece. People will remember you better. What is your intention of your card?
If no one knows who you are or what your company does in 3 seconds, your company will be a pass over. Let us not have that happen, that is bad business.
