Living Life Like No Other

I hope I am not going to get in trouble writing this particular thought down. But here goes respectfully...

I absolutely love retired people. They have so much to offer and share about their experiences and life.
It is quite stimulating. Unfortunately, some feel like they cannot catch up with today's forever changing world. I think they have lose their childlike curiosity. Perhaps knowing too much and being too set in their ways, may be their stumbling blocks.

I feel sad for some who tells me that they are old and there is nothing else to do in life but eat, shop, travel and chat. How much of these things can one do everyday? I see the graph chart as being plateaued and stagnent. Are they looking for something great to do? Something exciting to get that old blood moving and shaking again? Have they forgotton what fun is? Is life so freaking serious and boring?

It is fine when they do the best they can, with the health they've have got. But for those who are healthy and able...  they should see this as the finishing race saying, "Ha ha...I have really done it this time!" They should see retirement as new opportunities, to do the things that they always wanted to do, learn new technologies, integrate with the younger generation, to share their wisdom, to write blogs about their experiences so that the young can learn from them. To ask themselves where the world has gone wrong and use their knowledge to turn things around. Thank God of old fashion values... sometimes that is simply the remedy!

This stretch in life is not about making money, it is making a difference in another's lives through new thinking, ventures, through helping the needy, coming out with super different ideas to recharge the world. It is also about the passion of doing something for themselves... what they have always wanted to do, for all that they have given... to their loves ones and others,  now... don't you think it is time to do recharge and rebuilt the person that is within?

It is about giving way, yet supporting. This act is honorable and selfless. It is wealth in itself.
Just say YES, I CAN.
