Founder Mason has just recently made Fortune magazine’s list of most influential young business leaders at number 25. His privately-held, Chicago-based coupon company was launched just two years ago and is valued at an estimated $3 billion. Rumors were circulating just over a week ago about take-over talks with Google but comments from the young Mason would make that deal seem highly unlikely.
